Project Purpose

The 4th Wave Project seeks to revive Japan’s traditional nel drip brewing method and share its elegant extraction process with the world. By doing so, we aim to make the act of brewing coffee a mindful experience, allowing users to savor the rich flavors and aromas in a deeply personal way. We are also committed to developing eco-friendly products that reduce environmental impact, aligning with our sustainability goals.

The story portrays a society that has lost hope, where a group of middle school students independently create their own economy and carve out a future for themselves. Having secured the copyright for this work, we are now adapting it for a modern audience, delivering it to viewers around the world with an updated approach.

Depicting
the Future of DAOs through Film

The organization formed by the middle school students in Exodus from the Land of Hope closely resembles what we now know as a DAO (Decentralized Autonomous Organization), which is currently gaining attention. Through this film adaptation, we aim to help viewers naturally understand the concept of DAOs. By illustrating the DAO structure in an easy-to-understand way through the storyline, we hope to communicate the vast potential of this new economic system.

Expanding into
the Real World

The ultimate goal of this project is to recreate the DAO and the economic system, including the fictional currency “EXO,” depicted in the film, in the real world. By integrating the media and economic systems shown in the film with real-world Web3.0 technology, we plan to build a platform that anyone can participate in. This will link the fictional world of the film with reality, allowing viewers to experience a new culture that bridges both worlds.
